Family are requesting prayers for Stephanie Forbes’s daughter, Kendall Forbes of Wichita, Kansas, who is student and softball player at Pittsburg State University. She was in a horrific car accident Sunday night, July 20th, 2025, and needs lots of prayers for complete healing.
Kendall was hit in the drivers side door by a vehicle traveling at an excessive speed. She was ejected from the car and ended up in the ditch. Alex tended to her until the ambulance arrived. She is still sedated and intubated and they continue to watch her brain swelling.
They postponed her bladder surgery and opted to put a pelvic stabilization device on her. They didn’t want to stress her body with the surgeries while watching her brain swelling. They hope to do the pelvic surgery on Wednesday providing the brain swelling cooperates.
She had a visit from the plastic surgeon to repair a laceration on her face and 15 staples to close various cuts on her body. Kendall is currently a student & softball player at Pittsburg State University & was on her way home from Ft. Scott when she was hit on the drivers side by a vehicle traveling at an excessive speed.
