Bexar County, TX (July 2025) – A 3-year-old girl has drowned in a family pool in South Bexar County. Galilea Beautiful Lares was identified Friday by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. Investigators confirmed that she died as a result of drowning. Her death was ruled an accident.
On Thursday, Lares was found unresponsive in the pool by her father at about 8 p.m. in the 20300 block of Andesine Ridge, off of Loop 1604 and Red Forest Lane, according to a Bexar County Sheriff’s Office incident report.
Family members called 911 and performed CPR until EMS arrived, according to the report.
Lares was pronounced dead at 9:23 p.m.
No foul play is suspected, the sheriff’s office said.
