Stephen Foster Elementary Charter School teacher Kevin Tesch was a beloved son and brother from Appleton, Wisconsin, who was loved and cherished by a lot of people. Sadly Kevin passed away unexpectedly leaving behind family and friends with only memories of the life he lived. His untimely death has left those closest to him grieving a loss that words can hardly capture.
He studied Social Work at UW Oshkosh and also studied Elementary and Middle Education at Marian University in Wisconsin. He was a teacher at Stephen Foster Elementary Charter School in the Appleton Area School District. Kevin was more than just a resident of Appleton, he was a friend to many, a source of strength to those in need, and a steadfast presence in the lives of those he loved.
He didn’t just care about what was on the agenda for the day, he cared beyond that. How each student was every day, what was going on in other classes, anything you needed to talk about, he was there. He had a certain goal for his students that not many teachers have, to achieve beyond what you’re being taught. Always kept everyone around him laughing with his off the wall humor.
The Tesch family will be announcing Kevin Tesch’s obituary, visitation, and funeral arrangements in the coming days. In memory of Kevin Tesch, family, friends and the community reflect on a life that, while cut short, was lived with great love and purpose. He will be deeply missed but forever be remembered.
