On Friday at about 4 p.m., police were dispatched to an accident scene at the intersection of Stricklerstown and Rod and Gun roads. The crash involved a motorcycle driven by Zachary Books, 40, Robesonia, and an SUV driven by Donna Montich, 52, King of Prussia. Emergency medical workers treated Brooks at the scene and transported him to Reading Hospital. The Berks County coroner’s office informed police that the rider died of his injuries. Montich was not injured.
